Two Latter-day Saint youth, Sara Arkell, a 13-year-old pianist, also known in social media venues as The Piano Gal, and her second cousin, Nathan Schaumann, a 15-year-old pianist from the Netherlands, have combined their musical talents to demonstrate their piano prowess in a new YouTube video. The video is a cover of Walk the Moon’s hit song “Shut Up and Dance.” The duet was arranged by Nathan himself, and in the video, not only do they play two different pianos across from each other, but they also play the piano backwards. The video currently has 8,649 views on YouTube.
According to a Deseret News article dated 3 September 2015, “Sara recently participated in CVX Live, Utah’s first YouTube conference, and both pianists upload covers of popular music to their respective YouTube channels, The Piano Gal and Nathan Schaumann Piano.”
