Alea Davis

Alea DavisAlea Davis is a 17-year-old member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Mesa, Arizona.

She has always enjoyed being surrounded by music and has a desire to develop and share her talents with as many people as she can. As she has grown up, she has seen many Christian singer/songwriters inspire the lives of others and dreams of being able to do the same.

Alea began writing songs at the age of 13 after receiving her first guitar. She has been writing, singing, and playing ever since. She has said, “Although many in a worldly state are drawn to distracting music, my faith has brought me to have a stronger desire to listen to Christian music and to inspire others with music I create as well.”

She knows well that uplifting music invites a spirit unlike any other. She continues, “As I have gone through trials and conflicts in life I can say that music truly has always brought me to a happy place in any state of despair I was currently in. Music speaks to the soul like nothing else can.” Her singing talents have mostly been shared in church settings and at family events, all the while, dreaming of someday singing for audiences who need uplifting and spiritual fulfillment.

She aspires to become a church speaker as well as a singer someday. Some of the people who have influenced her music include Calee Reed, John Bytheway, Hilary Weeks, Lexi Walker, Evie Clair, David Archuleta, Alex Boyé, and BYU Vocal Point. She says, “I know that music can make a difference and I so badly desire to be a light to the world and make a difference with my voice and songs.”
