CrossStrung BandCrossStrung is a family bluegrass band with a measure of diversification. The band was named the best Bluegrass band in the Rio Grande Valley 2014 and continues to wow audiences wherever they go. The group is comprised of Sheri Cluff, a mom and grandmother, who plays the guitar, bohdran (an Irish drum), and Irish flute; Emma Cluff, on electric bass and bass fiddle; Dan Riggs, on violin (he also clogs!); Sarah Cluff Riggs, who plays the mandolin and guitar; and Leah Cluff on violin.

Based in Salt Lake City, they call themselves a Celtic/Folk band. This family band enjoys performing a variety of music including celtic, bluegrass, folk, country, and gospel adding their own unique style. Their show is energetic and fun. As winners of the “National Family Talent Search” they opened for the Hughes Brothers in Branson, MO. They have won several individual and band competitions. Sarah and her husband, Dan, have played for thousands at folk festivals in more than 14 different countries around the world (ReverbNation).
