I am Roger Jones. We met each other in the late ’80’s. I know Lucie from Primary Children’s and Camp Utada.
My father wrote a hymn about Joseph Smith that my family used to sing during FHE. He submitted it for consideration in the new hymnbook,(1982) but was told they had enough hymns about Joseph Smith.
While I was watching the Priesthood session in October 2007. Much to my surprise, a Priesthood Choir sang my Father’s hymn in that session.
I have an idea for an expanded version of his hymn to be performed with a choir and symphony. This hymn commemorate’s the marvelous works of Joseph Smith while encompassing the vision of Beethoven that “All mankind shall be as brothers.”
Thank you for your consideration. If you are interested in getting more info let me know. I included my E-mail. But if you would like to text or call. My number is 702-979-0294.
