Interweave Solutions is a non-profit organization that has been revolutionizing the charitable industry by helping people in developing countries create their own sustainable incomes. Interweave helps neighbors help each other end poverty through self-reliance groups.

Founded in 2006, Interweave has a college fund and provides aid to Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, Ecuador, and U.S. Schools.  This intervention provides a participatory curriculum, micro-loan access and an operating model that empowers self-reliance groups and their members to achieve success in Education, Business, Home and Community. Interweave partners with local organizations to ensure that each group remains active, self-reliant, and expanding.

Alex was named to the Board of Directors in December 2014:

“I see this partnership truly helping to realize my vision of being an entertainer with a purpose,” says Boyé. “When I was first introduced to Interweave Solutions I immediately saw the potential this organization has to really help people help each other to overcome poverty,” said Boyé. “Together we can help people create new lives for themselves where they’re not dependent on others for handouts and where they can have sustainable self reliance.”
