Hi. Brooke right? I was wondering if you could maybe change the title of your work. Recently we are preferably not called Mormon anymore but we would like to be called members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Could you please change it? Thanks

Thank you for contacting Mormon Music. Please be assured that the issue of changing the name of the site has been addressed and the rebranding is in the works. Unfortunately, that is something that is completely out of my hands. When the change will take place is in the hands of those who own the site. By the same token, please realize that the renaming of sites will take some time, as even the Church has not officially changed the names of all their sites. We have the names of both U.S. as well as international sites to change. Be assured that the social media team is working towards changing the name of the site to Latter-day Saint Musicians. In the interim, as the Lead Writer and Manager for the site, I am using “Latter-day Saint” vs “Mormon” in articles and referring to people as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
