Cori Connors

Cori-ConnorsCori Connors, singer/songwriter and guitarist, gives modern folk fans exactly what they want.  If you love John Denver or Chris LeDoux, you’ll love Cori’s music.

Her first album, Pontiac Rocket (2005), speaks to the experience and strength that exists behind the voice.  A copy was sent to Bob Pegritz, recording artist and DJ for WVUD Delaware.  He tells, “I listened to [Pontiac Rocket] for the first time on the plane heading to Ireland last week and was literally floored.  El told me to be “ready” to be really hit in the heart.  He was correct. I am speechless. So far my favorite, though this could change tomorrow, is Idaho Wind, which should ONLY be sung by Cori or John Denver, and since John is with The Lord, there is only Cori.”

Cori’s Christmas album, Sleepy Little Town (2001) includes all originals, except for 2 tracks.  Cori’s lyrics to the lovely title track include, “all these miles of winter white keep me from your arms tonight”.  Her insight and sensitivity to family relationships and love at Christmas time are express in a variety of ways on this album.

Cori’s Christmas album, “One Small Boy” is now available on her site.
