The Gardiner Sisters are known for their tight harmonies and smooth voices, and their latest video feature a mash-up of Demi Lovato’s “No Promises” and Charlie Puth’s “Attention” is no different.

With a simple accompaniment and focus on the vocal talents of the sisters, their take on two of the most popular songs this summer adds a fresh new perspective that is sweet and fun to listen to. Both of the songs feature themes of rough relationships and people being on different pages when it comes to their expectations of each other. Even though the general feeling of both “No Promises” and “Attention” are angry, The Gardiner Sisters are able to take a softer approach that feels more tender and disappointed instead of just angry and upset.

The video itself is simple. Two sisters sit in what appears to be a gazebo, and both sing together while one plays the guitar. While the setup is simple and doesn’t include any special effect or dancing, it suits the mood of the mashup and makes the viewer pay attention to the talented voices and harmony.

The Gardiner Sisters style is wide and can range from upbeat and peppy to slower ballads, and their latest work on “No Promises” and “Attention” falls somewhere in the middle. It’s a calm, soothing sound that can appeal to a wide variety of people, and is a great example of the musical talents of the sisters.
