Aaron James Karr
Arron James Karr, an independent artist, was born on 3 October 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona. He is an accomplished singer, actor, songwriter, composer, producer, and engineer. Singing since the age of 3, Aaron continues to exhibit his musical prowess through his performances given during his national and international tours.
The first genre that he took an interest in was Country and Western. At the age of 3, after asking Santa for a Karaoke machine for Christmas, and donned in his new cowboy hat, shirt, leather vest, chaps and boots, he favored his family with his rendition of “Achy Breaky Heart.” It was not long before other styles of music became a part of his repertoire.
By the time he entered third grade, he had aspirations of being on Broadway or in Hollywood with intentions of becoming a star. His dreams have been fulfilled as he is not only an accomplished musician, but to date, he has had lead roles in Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, The Emperor’s New Clothes, Oliver, The Night and the Dragon, Newsies, The Secret Garden, This is a Test, Ghost Stories, and 8 seasons of The Savior of the World. It was his win in the Utah American Idol contest in June 2002 at the age of 13 that opened the doors for him to meet with representatives from record companies like Arista, Universal, Reprise, Jive, Columbia, Warner Brothers, Epic, Interscope, A&M, Atlantic, and Dreamworks.
Aaron also served a full-time two-year mission in Brazil from November 2007 to November 2009 for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has also composed several orchestrations for the LDS Church’s well known Mormon Messages and motion pictures.
