SIX
SIX is a vocal group that performs in Branson, Missouri comprised of six of ten brothers – Barry, Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen and Curtis Knudsen. The other four brothers work behind the scenes. The brothers began singing at an early age in Church and for community events, but it wasn’t until after they had served as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that they decided to launch their professional career. They spent some time in Los Angeles and Las Vegas performing which opened doors of opportunity to go from being unknown in the music industry to performing at A-list Hollywood parties for people such as Arnold Schwarzenneger and Clint Eastwood. They made their professional premier on the Donny and Marie Show in 1978.
In 1988 they began performing at Disneyland’s “Blast to the Past“, all the while developing their repertoire which allowed them to eventually get better paying engagements, and by 1995 they were able to support themselves completely with their professional singing.
The group has performed with Trisha Yearwood, Diana Ross, the Beach Boys, Olivia Newton John, Rod Stewart, the Doobie Brothers and many others. And since 1998, they have been performing for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. They have achieved great success in Branson, Missouri and have now performed for countless fans worldwide with songs of popular artists, and always ending their performance on a spiritual note. SIX was awarded Branson’s Best New Show in 2007 and Best Show of both 2008 and 2009.
