Avrey Diya

Avery DiyaAvrey Diya, a youth in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is an upcoming singer. She is 12 years old and was born in Penang, Malaysia. She lives with her family in El Dorado, Arkansas. When school starts again in the fall, Avrey will be a seventh grader at Barton Junior High School. Her favorite subjects are math and music production.

Avrey loves singing, dancing, and acting. From a young age, she has sung in many events at school and at Church. She has also performed in many school plays, as well as, productions by the South Arkansas Art Center. In 2015, Avrey played the role of a munchkin in the Wizard of Oz. In 2016, she played Young Simba in Lion King Jr. In 2017, Avrey played Kaa in a production of The Jungle Book, and she was also cast in the role of Belle in the Beauty and the Beast Jr. production. Also in 2017, she was invited to sing at the 2017 El Dorado Music Festival.

Avrey has hopes and dreams of a bright and promising career in the music business as a singer. She is currently working on launching her career on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and her own website.
